From the time we met as high school sweethearts, we have always enjoyed “living off the land” to varying degrees. When our children all relocated to Rochester and started their own families, we sold our family home and did the same. What initially started off as 25 acres of brush and bramble to spend time in nature with our growing number of grandchildren, then turned slowly into an idea, and finally into an adventure of building an organic farm. Admittedly, after a few years of cultivating this dream, it may have been easier to do so in our “younger years.” However, the modern day picture of retirement doesn’t quite provide the same meaning to our lives as the nobility of being good stewards of God’s creation and our bodies and growing the things that nourish them.
In our increasingly fast paced society, with processed, packaged, fast food, and constant eating on the go - we choose to be committed to the natural world and believe food should be as pure and as locally sourced as possible. We love to celebrate home cooking and embrace a culture of sharing meals as well as our lives around the family table. For us it’s the simple things that provide the zest of life: quiet sunsets overlooking our orchards, the buzzing of bees in our hives, picking blueberries with our grandchildren, interacting with our neighbors and community, and sharing our farm with our family and those who would like to share in it with us - including you! Our mission is to provide the best organic produce and local honey and maple syrup for you and your loved ones.
